Be:boosted provides us with a unique opportunity to learn how we can communicate in difficult situations, enabling us to find solutions and share solutions.

With the quote “things fall apart, the Centre cannot hold“ as a diagnosis of the state of the world, I aim to support the structure that resists these forces: the rule of law in the international community. I’m looking forward to learning about effective communication and negotiation together with fellow young changemakers!

With over 3 years of engagement in the be.boosted community and being a young professional herself, Charly is especially passionate to bring her knowledge on empowering leadership, self-growth, and group dynamics into the fellowship to help other young professionals navigate the often volatile environment of their early careers. If you are wondering where you can find Charly on weekends: Most probably she will be somewhere out dancing salsa or sitting in a café working on a project or planning her next adventure.
Mareike Jansen
Mareike first found to be.boosted when she became a fellow of Team LIMUN in 2022. Inspired by the amazing people she met, she continued supporting the succeeding teams taking on various roles in recruiting and mentoring. After 3 years of continuous engagement, she felt ready for a new challenge, hence she chose to become a trainer for the new team “Young Professionals”. Mareike is a final year medical student, currently based in Berlin, who during her medical studies gained insights into the health systems of Australia, Spain and Chile, thereby broadening her perspective on cross-cultural communication and multinational teams. Always having been a “people person”, Mareike loves connecting new people and perspectives and fostering lasting relationships not only within the Team Young Professionals but also within the whole of be.boosted. Regarding her focus as a trainer for the new Team Young professionals, she is especially passionate about navigating stressful environments, setting priorities and negotiation.
In her free time, however, she will either be out in the woods running or cozied up somewhere with a coffee in one hand and a good book in the other. Any book recommendations are always welcome!
Nikolai Ratajczak
Nikolai was part of Team WorldMUN in 2024 and is thrilled to be part of the launch of the Young Professionals Team. As a trainer, Nikolai sees his primary role in creating a team environment where individuals feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow and learn from each other’s diverse experiences and perspectives. He is driven by a curiosity to understand human motivations and committed to compassionate communication and active listening. His medical studies have taken him to hospitals across Europe, the US, and South Africa, broadening his perspectives on career paths – a journey he hopes to continue in discussion with future fellows. When he’s not working, you can find him hiking with friends, enjoying board games and tea, or dancing the night away to 90’s pop music.
Caroline von Lampe
Caro joined be.boosted as a WorldMUN fellow of Team Paris 2023. With the goal of increasing be.boosted’s social impact, she became a Trainer of Team LIMUN 2024. This year, Caro is excited to take on the next challenge as a Trainer for the very first Young Professionals Fellowship. After gaining her B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and spending a year working in the European Parliament, Caro is returning to her studies this year and starting a Master’s degree in Public Policy at Hertie School in Berlin.
